Position Summary:

Technical trainer to conduct training for professional adult audience from commercial, DoD, and municipalities. Ability to disseminate information to all levels, exceptional presentation skills, and written communication skills essentials. Proficiency in applying content to client environment with practical analogies. Ability to show flexibility, troubleshoot, evaluate, provide feedback and hold strong desire to continuously enrich knowledge and instructional methodologies are essential.

  • Office Products (Word/Excel/Access/PowerPoint/Project)
  • CompTIA Certifications
  • CEH/CISSP/CYBER SECURITY
  • Microsoft (Server/Client/SQL/Powershell/Dynamic/SharePoint)
  • PMP/ITIL/Leadership
  • Web Development/Coding
  • Curriculum Development


Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on instruction and practical training to create an engaging learning environment for professional students at Infotec locations, client sites, remote training facilities and/or virtually.
  • Use vendor authorized or internally developed materials to conduct training as appropriate.
  • Assist in maintaining classrooms, hardware and assist as needed in researching and developing training content. 
  • Maintain certification credentials.
  • Advise Infotec Operations of industry training needs and opportunities.
  • Assist in the training development process, including updating technical course curriculum, creating exam simulations, and e-learning courses.
  • Maintain good customer relations and work effectively with clients to accomplish their company goals.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • 5 + years instructional experience
  • 5+ practical experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred


Skills/Abilities:

  • Applied Knowledge and experience of skills in DoD or commercial environment
  • Strong communication skills -- written, verbal and on platform
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a rapid paced environment
  • Proficient in Power Point, Excel, Word, Internet and mobile devices.
  • Be willing to travel to customer sites on occasion, as well as, between different office locations within Hampton Roads, Virginia.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently, as well as, cohesively as a team.
